Home Watch Services

Zelta Home Watch provides home watch services throughout Palm Beach County. Services include scheduled, in-person checks of your home while you’re away. On every visit we walk the interior and exterior, looking for the problems that do real damage when nobody’s there to catch them: a leak, a failed air conditioner, pests, a storm-damaged roof. Whether you’re gone for a couple of weeks on vacation, a season, or longer, you get a report after every visit.

What a Home Watch Visit Includes

We will conduct a complete visual inspection of the interior and exterior of your property. We will become your second pair of eyes and make sure your home is maintained.

We work with every client to customize a checklist that best suits their needs, including (but not limited to) general maintenance on landscaping, pest control, all lighting (exterior and interior), all faucets/toilets and checking for mold/leaks/excessive dirt on walls/ceilings/vents/windows. Storm services: pre and post, associated with storms.

Storm Prep and Post-Storm Checks

We meet with you to customize a storm plan, we will immediately schedule your home for a pre-storm visit that will include moving outdoor furniture, potted plants and installing storm shutters. We will document all activities and provide a detailed report with pictures, if necessary.

Weekly or Biweekly Visits

We recommend weekly or biweekly visits. If your a/c goes out, black mold can start within 24-48 hours on hot summer days. Routine visits are a must.

Who We Look After

Most of our clients are seasonal residents who close up a Palm Beach County home for part of the year. We also watch homes while owners are away on vacation, second homes that sit empty between visits, houses left behind during long trips or hospital stays, and properties belonging to owners who can’t get there to check on things themselves. Whatever the reason your home is empty, the concern is the same — a leak, a pest problem, or an air conditioning failure that goes unnoticed for weeks. We agree on a checklist with you up front, and you hear from us after every visit.

What You Get After Every Visit

After each visit you receive a detailed report with photos of anything negative that we find. If we spot a problem such as a leak, pest activity, an air conditioning failure, we document it and contact you right away to agree on what happens next. You’ll know your home was checked, what was checked, and what we saw, without having to ask.
